Dog Bowl
Last year Dog Bowl fell off the rails... but now we're back on the tracks... Dog Bowl VI will go down this year on Saturday, September 17th. For the record, we first try to gather as many current and former Dogz as possible, then we fill in the gaps with various other softball brothers-in-arms until we have enough players for a 7-inning, 10 on 10, 16" blowout... in advance of game day, Nic and Bill will draft teams from the available pool of attendees... everyone gets in one last game of 16" before the long cold off-season... and this year we're doing it under the lights...
Dogz Party - What's on the Menu
Right after the game we're gonna head back over to our backyard and cookout (walking distance). Bags, Music, Beer... off into the night... To keep things simple we're just going to have everyone bring what they'd like to grill as their own main course and than hopefully, bring a side dish or dessert to share. We'll have some extra burgers, dogs and sausages for anyone who needs one. We'll also have a couple of cases of beer in coolers, Coors Light and Miller Lite, beyond that, feel free to bring your own.
Location - Driving Directions
Our house is a great location for this as we have 3 ball diamonds across the street, parking isn't an issue and we have a big back yard for the party that follows the game. We're in Arlington Height which is about 30 miles northwest of Grant Park. The following Google map is interactive, use it to get directions from wherever you're coming from.
